Valentine's Day Potluck Picnic

The club will be having a potluck picnic Valentine's Day - Tuesday, February 14, 2012.

The picnic will be held at University Park across from the Palm Desert Campus (74902 University Park Drive, Palm Desert 92260)

Come anytime from 10:00am to noon.

Feel free to bring food, friends, and family!

The activity of the day will be: Cardboard Sledding

If you don't know what cardboard sledding is I encourage you to come find out.

Please leave a comment below to say whether you will be attending, what you would like to bring to our potluck, and how many may be attending with you.

Although we are having our event on Valentine's Day it is not necessarily Valentine themed.

Tuesday January 17 Meeting Notes

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all enjoying the semester so far and classes have started out well. For those of you who were not able to make it to the meeting yesterday, no worries here's what's going on:

• An emblem is being made for the club. This design will go on fliers, posters, t-shirts, etc. Once I get a sketch of it from the artist I'll post it up for everyone to see. 
• Fliers and posters will be made up and I was hoping to have some volunteers to put them up around campus.
• As far as events go I would love to do something demur and close by - like a picnic at the park.
• Afterward, I was hoping to go rock climbing. More information to come on that.

 The plan for the picnic is to have it at the Palm Desert Civic Center Park and for it to be a pot luck. Time and Date have not been set because I would like to know when it's best for everyone who hopes to attend. Please email me with your schedule information.

Randall Henderson Loop Trail Hike

Hey everyone!
Welcome to the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus Outdoor Club blog!
I figured it would be a lot easier to post here where everyone can see each others' comments rather than emails back and forth.

For those of you who missed the Randall Henderson Loop Trail hike on Tuesday Dec. 14. Here are some pictures from it:

Updates:

• Charity Dumpit is now our Assisting Event Coordinator
• A new event will be schedule in the week between Christmas and New Year's. If you have any suggestions please post them. 
• An emblem for our club is being made that way we can put the design on our shirts, posters, etc.
